Kiguchi Technics Inc. Yasugi Testing Laboratory Added Accreditation Scope to JIS Q 17025: 2005 (ISO/IEC 17025: 2005) on November 17, 2011.
ISO/IEC 17025 is an international standard which specifies the general requirements for proving that testing and calibration laboratories have abilities to administer a management system and conduct testing and calibration as a third-party laboratory.
ISO/IEC 17025 consists of two technical requirements; one is the management requirement for the management system to testing and calibration laboratories aligned with ISO 9001, another is the technical requirement for technical abilities appropriate to the types of testing and calibration undertaken by testing and calibration laboratories which are not included in the requirements of ISO 9001.
Testing and calibration laboratories accredited by ISO/IEC 17025 are entitled to put an accreditation mark on testing reports or certificates. This mark is internationally recognized and enhances reliability of the laboratories.
