Kiguchi Technics Inc. Completed Transition to JIS Q 9100 : 2009/JIS Q 9001 : 2008 (ISO 9001 : 2008) as of Feb. 26, 2012.

JIS Q 9100 is a quality management system standard for the aerospace and defense industry made by adding requirements specific to the industry to ISO 9001, the international quality management system standard. The certificate of JIS Q 9100, therefore, provides the certificate of ISO 9001.
The aerospace manufacturers (e.g., aircrafts, aero-engines) in the world established IAQG and created the standard of IAQS 9100 for the purpose of consolidating mutual requirements for the quality in the aerospace industry, while Japanese major aerospace manufacturers established JAQG and published Japanese version of IAQS 9100, referred to as JIS Q 9100. Likewise, AS 9100 and EN 9100 were issued in the United States and Europe respectively. These standards are mutually recognized internationally,which means that JIS Q 9100 is valid to American and European companies as well as AS 9100 and EN 9100 to Japanese companies.
