KIGUCHI TECHNICS INC., Developing Metal Parts Evaluation Business, Awarded Prize by Chugoku New Business Conference

Chugoku New Business Conference (Chugoku NBC, Chairperson Keitaro Matsusaka, President of Hirobo Group), an incorporated association, announced on May 23 that it had decided the awarded companies of the prizes including the 19th Chugoku Region New Business Grand Prize. The grand prize will be given to KIGUCHI TECHNICS INC. (Yasugi-city, Shimane, President Shigeki Kiguchi) which develops the evaluation business of metal parts and materials for the aerospace industry. The awards ceremony will be organized in Hiroshima-city on May 31st.
KIGUCHI TECHNICS INC. has enhanced its evaluation business to break away from its business structure as a subcontractor. Last year, it obtained gNadcaph (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) which is an international accreditation system of special processes for the aerospace industry.
The outstanding performance award will be given to 3 companies: KURAKA GROUP CO., LTD. (Kurashiki-city, Okayama) which evaluates the system of the production and distribution of cut vegetables with a high regard for quality: Pearl Star Co., Ltd. (Higashihiroshima-city, Hiroshima) which has developed the nonslip socks with industry-academia-government collaboration: and Hattendo Co., Ltd. (Mihara-city, Hiroshima) which specializes in the production and distribution of cream-filled rolls. 6 companies will be awarded the special prize.

gThe 19th New Business Grand Prize,h which awards companies and individuals that develop remarkable new businesses in Chugoku region, was announced on May 23rd, and KIGUCHI TECHNICS INC. (Yasugi-city, President Shigeki Kiguchi), a company to evaluate parts and materials for aircraft, was selected for the grand prize. The awards ceremony will be organized in Hiroshima-city on May 31st.
The award is organized by Chugoku New Business Conference (Chugoku NBC, Chairperson Keitaro Matsusaka, President of Hirobo Group) for improvement of new businesses.
The grand prize will be given to one company, the outstanding performance award to 3 companies and the special prize to 6 companies this time.
KIGUCHI TECHNICS INC. obtained Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) in 2010 which is for the aerospace industry. Moreover, it is the only company that has the accreditation of ISO/IEC17025, an international standard, for thermal fatigue testing which is required to evaluate super-refractory alloy for aircraft. It has obtained more and more orders for aircraft parts/materials evaluation which requires high accuracy.
In addition to KIGUCHI TECHINICS INC., 2 other companies in Sanin were given the special prize; Chizusekiyu (Chizu-cyo, Tottori) works in car rental business using secondhand cars; and Heisei (Kotoura-cyo, Tottori) produces and distributes Japanese-style bouillon with flying fish.

New Business Grand Prize to KIGUCHI TECHNICS INC.

yHiroshimaz Chugoku New Business Conference (Naka-ku, Hiroshima-city, Chairperson Keitaro Matsusaka, Phone:082-221-2929) gave the 19th Chugoku Region New Business Grand Prize to KIGUCHI TECHNICS INC. (in Yasugi-city, Shimane). One of the reasons for the prize is that KIGUCHI TECHNICS INC. is dramatically increasing the number of customers and sales as an independent company for metallic materials testing/evaluation in the automobile and aerospace industries. It obtained ISO/IEC17025 which specifies requirements for testing laboratories and calibration institutes.
